Description
Small enough to carry anywhere and designed for dependable performance when access matters, Blue Spear 5.5-Inch Small Trauma Shears are an excellent choice for compact first-aid kits, IFAKs, responder pouches, vehicles, classrooms, workplaces, and outdoor emergency supplies.
The blades are made from Japanese 420J2 stainless steel, selected for its durability, cutting performance, and resistance to corrosion. A black coating gives the shears a professional, low-profile finish, while the serrated cutting edge grips clothing, gauze, bandages, and tape to help prevent the material from slipping during use.
The angled blade design helps the responder work close to the patient while maintaining control. A clothing-lift lip and rounded safety tip allow the lower blade to be guided beneath material while helping reduce the risk of accidental contact with the patient’s skin.
Comfortable, contoured handles provide a secure grip in a compact format. The shears are reusable and autoclavable at temperatures up to 143°C (289°F), following the applicable cleaning and sterilization procedures.
